We had a good meeting Friday the 8th. Here are the issues that we are currently working on. -We are trying to get cola for both 2014 and 2015. -We are trying to get a solid percentage sharing formula for medical. This way we will know what we will be paying each year. -We are working on getting language for industrial leave. -We are working on getting paid double time for working OT on a holiday. i.e. If you are working Christmas let's say swing shift and you decide to work dayshift OT you would get double time for the dayshift time. Hopefully that is not to confusing. -Also we are trying to get a 3 year contract. Unfortunately the county did not have the approval to actually give us an official proposal due to the people who have that authority were not available. We did express our frustration that they had plenty of time to get this done. Hopefully this is a good update for everyone. Please feel free to ask questions if anything sounds confusing.
